No tracking. No developer-operated servers. No nonsense.

SocialSnag has no backend, analytics, or data collection servers. When you request media, your browser contacts the selected platform and its media hosts directly. Processing happens in your browser, and settings are stored using built-in extension storage. If browser sync is enabled, your browser may sync those settings through its own cloud services, controlled by your browser account rather than SocialSnag.
