Tracking and analyzing the social media presence of New Jersey Civic Information Consortium grantees to measure civic journalism impact across the state.

What is NJCIC?

The New Jersey Civic Information Consortium (NJCIC) is a first-in-the-nation initiative that provides funding to support local journalism and civic information projects across New Jersey. Established in 2018, the Consortium is a partnership between six public research universities in the state.

NJCIC awards grants to news organizations, community groups, and civic technology projects that are working to address local news deserts and information gaps in New Jersey communities.

This dashboard provides weekly analytics on the social media performance of NJCIC grantees. By tracking engagement across seven platforms—TikTok, Instagram, Bluesky, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn—we aim to:
